The Dell Rapids Quarrier girls cruised to their second win of the season on Friday, December 15th. After a hard-fought win against Sioux Falls Christian on the road Tuesday night, the Quarriers won 72-42 over the Tea Area Titans at Dell Rapids High School.
The Quarriers jumped out to a lead an 18-7 lead by the end of the first quarter. Dell Rapids continued rolling offensively in the second quarter by scoring 20 points and went into the locker room at halftime 38-19. The Quarriers scored 17 points in each of the final two quarters while holding Tea Area to 23 second half points for the win.
Dell Rapids (2-0) will play the #3 ranked Hamlin Chargers on Saturday, December 16th, at the Entringer Classic at Colman-Egan High School. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m., and the game can be seen on Big Sioux Media.
