One day after winning the St Mary Invite, the Dell Rapids Quarrier competitive cheer team finished 6th overall at the Watertown Invite on Tuesday, August 28th. Fifteen total teams participated in the event with only two of them being Class A teams.
Dell Rapids finished with a team score of 196.5. Sioux Falls O’Gorman won the invite with a score of 259.5. Sioux Valley, the only other Class A team, finished second with a score of 250.5. Sioux Falls Washington was third with a score of 224.5.
The Quarriers will host the Dell Rapids Invite on Tuesday, September 4th. Both the Quarrier and Cardinal teams will perform, and the competition will be streamed on Big Sioux Media.
