The Dell Rapids Quarrier competitive cheer team won the Platte-Geddes Invite on Saturday, October 14th at Platte High School. The Quarriers finished with a score of 270.50 points. Parkston placed second with 221.00 points. Platte-Geddes was third with 217.50 points, and Redfield/Doland was fourth with 199.00 points.
Other teams competing in the invite were Dakota Valley, Bon Homme, Rapid City Stevens, Wagner, Winner, Gregory, and Lyman.
The Quarriers will head to the 2017 State A Competitive Cheer Competition which will be held on Friday, October 20th and Saturday, October 21st at Rapid City Stevens High Schoool.
