The Dell Rapids Quarrier competitive cheer team placed 3rd at the Sioux Valley Invite held on Thursday, September 20th at Sioux Valley High School. Six teams participated in the cheer portion, and one team performed in the dance portion of the event.
Dell Rapids finished with a total of 135.50 points. Sioux Valley won the cheer title with 161.50 points. Deubrook Area was 2nd with 136.00 points. Faulkton Area placed 4th. Arlington-Lake Preston was 5th, and Redfield-Doland placed 6th. Northwestern had a score of 116.50 points in the Hip-Hop category and 114.50 points in the Pom category of the dance event.
Dell Rapids will travel to North Sioux City for the Dakota Valley Invite on Saturday, September 22nd for their next performance.
