The Dell Rapids Quarrier and Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinal competitive cheer teams competed at the Brookings Invite held at the Swiftel Center in Brookings on Saturday, September 16th. Sixteen schools competed in the competitive cheer portion of the event.
The Quarriers finished tied for third with a total of 221.00 points. The Cardinals finished 12th with a total of 183.5o points. Sioux Valley won the competition with 248.00 points. 
Sioux Falls Washington was second with 237.00 points. Harrisburg tied with Dell Rapids with 221.00 points.
The Quarriers will participate in the Sioux Valley Invite on Thursday, September 21st. They will also be at the Dakota Valley Invite on Saturday, September 23rd, and the Sioux Falls O’Gorman Invite on Tuesday, September 26th.
The Cardinals will have their next competition at the Rider Spirit Invitational at the Sanford Pentagon on Saturday, September 30th.
