PBR got three runs in the top of the third inning. Riley Hoffman had an RBI ground out scoring Trey Randel. Carter Gullickson scored on a wild pitch, and David Kirby had an RBI single for an early 3-0 lead. Salem picked up a run in the bottom of the third to cut the lead to 3-1.
The score remained 3-1 until the top of the seventh inning. PBR then scored eight times in the top of the seventh. Weston Hanson had an RBI single. Kirby drove home two with a single. Beau Behrend had an RBI single. Gullickson brought home two more with a double, and Hanson also had two more RBIs in the inning with a double. Salem was held scoreless in the bottom of the seventh, and the game ended on the 10-run rule.

Riley Calhoon, Tanner Solberg, and Randel all had a single in the game as well. Hoffman pitched seven innings allowing an unearned run on four hits with four walks and six strikeouts.
