Falcons Big Third Quarter Leads to Win over Bulldog Girls

The De Smet Bulldog girls traveled to Redfield to play the Florence-Henry Falcons in the Redfield Classic on Saturday, January 7th.  The Falcons used a big third quarter in their 61-32 win over the Bulldogs.

Florence-Henry had a 16-11 lead after the first quarter of play and then extended that lead to 30-19 at halftime.  De Smet was still within striking distance at that point, but the Falcons outscored the Bulldogs 19-3 for a 49-22 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

Hazel Luethmers finished with 10 points.  Emma Albrecht had nine points.  Jada Burke added seven points.  Alyssa Asleson and Ivey Schoenfelder each had three points.
