Flandreau’s Fast Start Leads to Win over De Smet Girls

The Flandreau Fliers used a fast start to lead them to a 67-34 win over the De Smet Bulldogs on Tuesday, February 6th.

The Fliers started the game on a 20-2 run, which was the score at the end of the first quarter.  Flandreau extended the lead to 27 points, 42-15, by halftime.  De Smet had a good third quarter, and they got the lead under 20 points, 50-31, late in quarter.  The Fliers, however, ended the quarter on a 6-0 run for a 56-31 advantage.

Hazel Luethmers had 19 points and five rebounds.  Audi Currier added seven points and four rebounds.  Mirra Beck also had seven points with three rebounds and two assists.  Brooke Jennings added three points and five rebounds.
