The Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinal girls cruised to a 56-26 win over the Lac qui Parle Valley Eagles at the Dakota Valley Conference Classic in White on Saturday, January 20th.
The Cardinals needed a quarter to get going, but once they did, they didn’t look back. St Mary led by just a point, 10-9, at the end of the first quarter. The Cardinals would then outscore the Eagles 23-5 in the second quarter for a 33-14 lead at halftime. St Mary would cruise from there outscoring the Eagles 11-7 in the third quarter and 12-5 in the fourth quarter.
Two players finished in double figures. Jenna Miller had a game-high 17 points. Jodie Klein finished with 11 points. Addison Libis had nine points. Maddyn LeBrun and Sierra Klein both had five points each.
