Another Dell Rapids St Mary track school record was broken at the Howard Wood Dakota Relays in Sioux Falls on Friday, May 5th and Saturday, May 6th. Not only was a record broken, but the Cardinals had several top 10 finishes at the meet.
Lucus Flemmer broke the school record for the 400m dash with a fifth-place time of :49.76. The girls 4x400m relay team of Maya Heinitz, Josie Baumberger, Addison Libis, and Madala Hanson had a fifth place finish. The girls 4x200m relay team of Ella Griffin, Heinitz, Libis, and Hanson placed eighth. A mixed 4x400m relay team of Hanson, Nic Gaspar, Heinitz, and Flemmer placed sixth.
