Boys 1st, Girls 2nd for Cardinal Track Teams at Dolphin Relays

The St Mary’s Cardinal girls and boys track teams both had great days at the Dolphin Relays in White on Thursday, May 21st.  The boys team took the team title with 113.5 points.  The girls team finished second with 115 points, just one point behind Deubrook Area.

Emersyn Herber won the 200m dash with a time of :28.09.  Maddyn LeBrun won the javelin with a school-record throw of 129’4″ and took second in the discus at 133’1″ also setting a new school record.  Madalyn LeVoy took the top spot in the triple jump with a jump of 33’6.75″ and placed second in the long jump at 14’11.25″.  Sophia LaVoy was second in the triple jump at 32’6.75″.  Kate Liebl was second in the javelin at 115’10” and finished third in the discus with a throw of 120’10”.  Lauryn LeBrun placed third in the javelin at 107’6″.  The 4x200m relay team of Layla Hanson, S. LaVoy, M. LaVoy, and Herber won in a time of 1:53.28.  The 4x100m relay team of Hanson, S. LaVoy, M. LaVoy, and Herber placed second in :54.05.  The 4x800m relay team of S. LaVoy, Lucy Vargas, Pagie Deuter, and Addy Fiegen took third in a time of 11:02.49.

Thomas LaVoy won the 100m dash in :11.53 and finished second in the 400m dash in :53.57.  Logan Bauer won the 400m dash with a time of :53.39.  Lincoln LeBrun placed second in the 100m dash in :11.55.  Jake Heinitz was second in the 200m dash in a time of :23.86.  Cooper Libis finished second in the 1600m run with a time of 4:57.20.  Gavin Pica was second in the discus with a throw of 149’8″.  Isaac Griffin was second in the triple jump at 39’0.5″.  Jaxson Baumberger was third in the high jump with a jump of 5’6″.  Josh Liebl finished third in the long jump at 19’2.5″.  Alex Lindeman placed third in the shot put with a throw of 42’9″.  The 4x800m relay team of Baumberger, Libis, Matt Heinemann, and Jacob Flemmer finished second in a time of 8:34.21.
