Deubrook went on a 6-0 spurt with two made three-pointers at the end of the first quarter that turned a four-point lead into a 24-14 lead at the end of the quarter.  That spurt gave the Dolphins momentum.  They pushed the lead to 36-19 by halftime.  The Cardinals were able to cut into the lead in the third quarter.  The cut the deficit to 45-34 by the end of the third quarter.  St Mary got the lead down to 10 points midway through the fourth quarter, but the Dolphins hit a couple of shots and made enough free throws to stop any Cardinal rally.

St Mary shot 32% (16-50) from the filed, but just 23% (8-35) from three-point area.  They were 2-2 from the free-throw line.  Deubrook shot 44% (20-45) overall, 50% (9-18) from three-point area, and held a big advantage at the free-throw line, going 9-16 in the game.

Madala Hanson had 16 points, four rebounds, and three assists.  Ella Griffin finished with eight points, six rebounds, and four assists.  Whitney Warwick added six points.
