The Beresford Watchdogs boys basketball team fell to the Flandreau Fliers at home on Thursday, December 19th. The Fliers led at every quarter break in a 70-33 victory.
Flandreau built an eight-point, 19-11, by the end of the first quarter. They would outscore the Watchdogs 21-12 in the second quarter for a 40-23 lead at halftime. Beresford was held to just five points in the third quarter and five more in the fourth quarter while the Fliers had 30 second half points.
Malachi James had 10 points and three rebounds. Aidan Hamm added nine points. Tiegen Nyhaug had six points. Ashton Oberle finished with five points and four rebounds.
