Watchdog Boys Keep Rolling with Defense and Hot Shooting

The Beresford Watchdogs (14-3) extended their winning streak to 10 games after a 71-41 win over the Garretson Blue Dragons on Tuesday, February 7th.  Defense and hot shooting from Aiden Hamm keyed the victory for Beresford.

The Watchdogs started the game on a 10-2 run and kept rolling from there.  They led 24-7 at the end of the first quarter and led 36-18 at halftime.  Beresford kept the momentum going in the second half and outscored Garretson 35-23 in the second half.  The defense for the Watchdogs had a total of 14 blocked shots in the game.

Hamm had the hot hand with seven made three pointers and a total of 23 points.  He also had four rebounds.  Jake Goblirsch had 14 points, six rebounds, and five steals.  Tate VanOtterloo added 13 points, four rebounds, six assists, and seven blocked shots.  Andrew Atwood ended with 10 points, nine rebounds, five assists, and four blocked shots.
