The Beresford Watchdogs (8-7) held off the Alcester-Hudson Cubs fourth quarter comeback bid on Saturday, February 4th. The Watchdogs took the win 58-53 at Alcester-Hudson High School.
The Cubs ended the first quarter holding a 12-11 lead. Beresford got rolling on offense and took the lead in the second quarter. The Watchdogs led 31-24 at halftime. They would add another point to their lead by the end of the third quarter, 41-33. Alcester-Hudson outscored Beresford 20-17 in the final quarter, but the comeback fell short.
