Colman-Egan/Flandreau Scores Late Runs to Beat Baltic

Colman-Egan/Flandreau scored two runs in the seventh to get a 13-12 win over Baltic on Sunday, April 13th.

Colman-Egan/Flandreau held a 2-1 lead after the first inning.  Neither team scored in the second inning keeping the score 2-1.  Colman-Egan/Flandreau added five runs in the top of the third to extend the lead to 7-1.  Baltic would add a single run in the bottom of the inning.

The offense continued to roll for Colman-Egan/Flandreau.  They scored three more times in the top of the fourth to make the score 10-2.  Baltic had a big inning in the bottom of the fifth.  They scored four runs to make the score 10-6.  Colman-Egan/Flandreau added one more run in the top of the sixth.  Baltic continued their momentum and scored six runs in the bottom of the sixth to take a 12-11 lead.  Comlan-Egan/Flandreau, however, scored two runs in the top of the seventh for the go-ahead runs.

AJ Grunewaldt had two hits and an RBI.  Isaac Oakley had a triple with three RBIs.  Isaac Oakley added a double with three RBIs.  Ryder Siemonsma ended with a single and two RBIs.  Braxten Allen and Cale Roach both had a single with an RBI.  Jackson Goehring had one hit.

I. Oakley pitched four innings and allowed eight earned runs on night hits and six walks with two strikeouts.  Grunewaldt threw 2 1/3 innings and allowed five earned runs on three hits and seven walks with three strikeouts.  Laken Kortemeyer pitched 2/3 of an inning.
