The Baltic 16U baseball team lost their third straight home game on Wednesday, July 18th. Madison Gold took the win this time by a score of 13-2.
Madison jumped out to a 5-0 lead early with a five-run first inning. Baltic got one run back in the bottom of the first. Madison, however, added three runs in the top of the second and two in the top of the third for a 10-1 advantage. They scored three more times in the top of the fifth, while Baltic got one run in the bottom of the inning.
Jackson Goehring had two hits and an RBI. Isaac Oakley finished with a single and an RBI. Landon Peterson and Beau Breece each had a single. Breece pitched four innings and allowed eight runs, seven earned, on eight hits and two walks with four strikeouts. Joey Grunewaldt pitched one inning and allowed five earned runs on four hits and four walks.
