Both Baltic Track Teams Place Second at BEC Meet

Both the girls and boys Baltic Bulldog track teams placed second at the Big East Conference track meet in Salem on Thursday, May 11th.  The girls team finished with 112.5 points.  The boys team finished with 132 points.

Daynica Witzel won both the long jump and triple jump.  Ava Tiahrt placed second in the 400m dash.  The 4x200m relay team of A. Tiahrt, D. Witzel, Claire Berg, and Hailey Tiahrt finished second.  The 4x800m relay team of Sadey Holt, H. Tiarht, Elizabeth Hockenberry, and Tenley Witzel finished second.  The sprint medley relay team of Geigle, D. Witzel, T. Witzel, and Holt also finished second.  Maiya Fredrickson finished third in the shot put.  H. Tiahrt finished fourth in the 800m run.  Meredith Larson took fourth in the 3200m run.  Addison Geigle also placed fourth in the 100m hurdles.

Issac Weeman won the shot put and finished second in the discus.  Kellan Artz won the high jump.  Payton Anderson placed second in the 400m dash and third in the 200m dash.  John Gronewold was second in the 3200m run and third in the 1600m run.  Cohen McGuire placed third in both the 110m hurdles and 300m hurdles.  Bryson Graff placed third in the long jump.  The 4x800m relay team of J. Gronewold, Mark Ditter, Alex Langner, and Kyle Gronewold finished third.  The sprint medley relay team of Gavin Miller, Jackson Goehring, Jackson Westerbur, and Ditter also placed third.  Langner was fourth in the 800m run.  Kaden Schliemann took fourth in the long jump.  The 4x400m relay team of Shae Fiala, Dylan Runestad, Westerbur, and Payton Anderson finished fourth.
