The Baltic Bulldog track team had two school records set at the 2026 South Dakota State A Track Meet in Sioux Falls held Thursday, May 28th through Saturday, May 30th.
Caitlyn Pickett finished 10th overall in the shot put with a throw of 34’4.75″. Alexis Kehn set a school record and finished 16th in the 800m run with a time of 2:22.72. The 4x800m relay team of Hailey Tiahrt, Sadey Holt, Kate Bouman, and Alexis Kehn placed 11th in 10:19.57. The sprint medley relay team of Elise Wilde, Emma Albright, Bouman, and Kehn was 20th with a time of 4:28.41.
Dylan Runestad set a school record (prelim time of :49.55) and placed third in the 400m dash with a finals time of :50.36. He also placed third in the 200m dash at :22.62. Kellen Artz took ninth in the high jump at 6’0″. The sprint medley relay team of Henry Anderson, Jax Vrchota, Ben Berg, and Cooper Garry finished 15th with a time of 3:47.10. Gavin Miller was 17th in the triple jump with a leap of 40’0.75″.
