Alcester-Hudson Boys Take Road Win over Sioux Falls Lutheran

The Alcester-Hudson Cub boys earned a 71-58 road win against the Sioux Falls Lutheran Eagles on Monday, February 17th.

The Cubs built a nine-point lead, 20-11, by the end of the first quarter.  They were able to keep that lead throughout the entire game.  The Eagles cut the lead to four points early in the second quarter, but Alcestesr-Hudson pushed the lead to 37-26 by halftime.  The third quarter was full of offense as the two teams combined for 41 points.  The Cubs took a 59-45 lead into the fourth quarter.  The Eagles couldn’t get much closer than 10 points the entire fourth quarter.

Five players finished in double figure scoring on the night.  Tommy Walth had 15 points and five rebounds.  Jacob Cole added 14 points and four rebounds.  Evan Brown ended with 11 points and four rebounds.  Jose Topete-Lopez had 10 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.  Ethan Bovill also had 10 points with five rebounds.
