Cub Boys Snap Three Game Skid

The Alcester-Hudson Cubs used a big third quarter to help them snap a three-game losing streak on Monday, February 12th.  The Cubs hosted the Sioux Falls Lutheran Eagles and took the win 56-43.

Alcester-Hudson did built an 11-point lead, 18-7, by the end of the first quarter.  The Eagles, however, cut into that deficit and trailed 23-15 at halftime.  The Cubs found their offensive groove in the third quarter and scored 19 points to extend their lead to 42-28 going into the fourth quarter.

Mateo Kleinhans had 15 points, three rebounds, and five assists.  Jose Topete-Lopez added 12 points, five rebounds, and four steals.  Ethan Bovill had nine points, four rebounds, and three assists.  Evan Haak also had nine points.  Dominic Van Egdom ended with eight points, seven rebounds, and three steals.
