Cub Volleyball Drops Road Match at Beresford

The Alcester-Hudson Cub volleyball team traveled to Beresford on Thursday, October 6th.  The Watchdogs won the match in four sets.

The first two sets of the match were close, as Beresford won both of them by just two points.  The Watchdogs won the first set 25-23, but needed extra points in the second set.  Beresford won the second set 26-24.  Alcester-Hudson extended the match with a fairly big 25-14 victory.  The Watchdogs, however, ended the match by winning the fourth set 25-21.

Ella Serck ended the night with 32 digs, 32 set assists, one ace serve, and a kill.  Carly Patrick had 11 kills and three digs.  Jenna Manning had 13 digs and four ace serves.  Hannah Ahart added 21 digs and three set assists.  Emma Moller finished with 19 digs, 14 kills, and four ace serves.  Alexis Gray had 13 digs, five kills, and four blocks.  Elly Doering finished with 10 kills and four digs.  Devin Hongslo had six digs, three set assists, two ace serves, and two kills.
