Dell Rapids PBR advanced to the second round of the State B Amateur Baseball Tournament with an 11-0 win over Martin in eight innings on Wednesday, August 8th. The game started about an hour late due to a late afternoon rain shower in Sioux Falls. Colin Karst pitched a great game going five innings giving up no runs on two hits, walked one and struck out eight for the win. Landon Klock led the offense going 3-5 with four RBIs, including a two-run home run in the top of the third inning. Dan Conrad was 3-4 in the game with two RBIs, and Nate Henry also picked up a couple of hits while driving in two runs.
Dell Rapids will now face Salem on Monday, August 12th, at 6:00 p.m. at Sioux Falls Stadium.
