The Dell Rapids Quarrier track team had three “Top 8″ finishes at the Howard Wood Dakota Relays on Friday, April 30th and Saturday, May 1st in Sioux Falls.
The girls 4x200m relay team of Kylie Fiddelke, Madyson VanOverbeke, Merritt Kvigne, and Danica Heibult finished fourth in a time of 1:48.79. The 4x400m relay team of Fiddelke, Samantha Price, Kvigne, and Heibult placed fifth with a time of 4:17.10.
The boys sprint medley relay team of Ryler Evans, Danek Hilmar, Owen Nelson, and Logan Anderson placed eighth with a time 3:49.34. Hilmar had a 12th place finish in the high jump with a jump of 5’10”.
The Quarriers will be at the Lenwood Invitational in Lennox on Tuesday, May 4th.
