The Colman/Egan Hawks scored 34 of their 79 points in the third quarter against the Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinals on Thursday, February 11th, at Dell Rapids St Mary High School. The Hawks won 79-38.
Colman/Egan led 18-10 after the first quarter, and then pushed their lead to 34-23 by halftime. The Hawks then out scoured St Mary 34-8 in the third quarter to go ahead 68-31.
St Mary finished the night shooting just 26% (11-43) from the field, 22% (4-18) from three-point area, and 71% (12-17) from the free-throw line. The Cardinals had 32 team rebounds. The Hawks also forced 31 Cardinal turnovers.
The Cardinals (1-16) will host Oldham-Ramona/Rutland on Monday, February 15th.
