Tri-Valley White 14U had a hard time shutting down Dell Rapids as Dell Rapids scored in every inning but the last in a 10-1 win over Tri-Valley in Colton on Wednesday, June 30th.
Dell Rapids scored three runs right away in the top of the first. They added two more in the second, single runs in the third, fourth and fifth innings, and then two more in the sixth. Tri-Valley’s run came in the bottom of the fifth when Levi Kretzschmar scored on a passed ball.
Tri-Valley was held to just two hits in the game. Parker Hemme and Gage Egger had the two hits. Benjamin Myhre pitched four innings allowing seven runs, but only one earned, on six hits with one walk and one strikeout. Egger pitched three innings allowing three runs, two earned, on four hits with four walks and three strikeouts.
