Funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 30, for Margaret “Peggy” Allen, 58, Gillette, Wyo., former Madison resident, who died on Jan. 26, 2016, at Madison Regional Health. The Rev. DeWayne Kayser will officiate in St. Thomas Aquinas Church at Madison, and burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Badus Township. On-Line Condolences may be left at Weiland Funeral Chapel.

Peggy Habeger was born on Oct. 29, 1957, at Madison. She grew up in Ramona and graduated from Ramona High School in 1975. She married Bill Allen on Oct. 31, 1975, at Madison. She lived in Madison and drove truck with her husband until moving to Gillette in 1989. She was a heavy equipment operator for the Powder River Coal Company. She returned to Madison in December 2015.

Survivors include her husband, Bill of Madison; a son, Nick of Gillette; two grandchildren; four brothers, John (Polly) Habeger of Madison, Bill (Alice) Habeger of San Diego, Calf,. Bob (Vickie) Habeger of Carmellan Bay, Calif., and Ray (Suzanne) Habeger of Dell Rapids; and a sister, Mary (Clint) Tolley of Ramona.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jim Habeger.
