Louise Lydic

Louise M. Lydic, 82, of Chester, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2012, at the Dells Nursing and Rehab Center in Dell Rapids. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at St. Peters Lutheran Church, Wentworth, SD. Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, rural Chester. Visitation will begin at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, with the family present at 5:00 P.M., and a prayer service beginning at 7:00 P.M., at the Minnehaha Funeral Home, Dell Rapids.

Louise is survived by her children: Luanna (Llyn) Shuck, Colton, Nancy (Darrel) Presuhn, Madison, and Ken (Dawn) Lydic, Chester; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; sister, Lavonne Dafoe, Sioux Falls; sisters-in-law: Marilyn Granum, Sioux Falls, Mary (Randy) Newcomer, Mitchell, and Patricia (George) Skelton, Casa Grande, AZ; brothers-in-law: George (Violet) Lydic, Denver, CO, and LeRoy (Tammy) Lydic, Sioux Falls; along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; five brothers and one sister. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the St. Peters Handicap Accessible Building Fund.
