Janith “Jan” V. Morrison, 76, of Dell Rapids, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at the Dells Nursing and Rehab Center in Dell Rapids. Jan requested no funeral service.

Jan was born in Miller, SD to Floyd and Una McKinney. In 1957 she married Walter G. Fanger Jr. and to this marriage were born four children.   She married Ronald W. Morrison in 1980. They lived for a time in Sioux Falls, Custer and most recently Dell Rapids.  She loved all flowers, roses were her favorite. She enjoyed painting and collecting items with flowers decorating them.

God saw you were getting tired, And a cure was not to be,  So he put his arms around you, And whispered, “Come to me.”

Grateful to have shared her life: her husband of 36 years Ron,  daughter Sally Staufer (Pierre), son Keith Fanger (Rapid City) son-in-law Alan Hale (Tripp) and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and step-children and grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents Floyd and Una McKinney and two daughters Billie Hale and Mary.
