Jacob Huggett

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 10:00 am at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Long Prairie for Jacob Daniel Huggett, age 23, of Long Prairie, MN, who passed away Tuesday, July 2nd in Sioux Falls, SD. Father Christopher Leith will officiate and burial will be in Christ the King Catholic Cemetery in Browerville, MN. Friends and family may call from 4 to 8 pm, Friday and 9 to 10 am Saturday at the church. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 pm on Friday. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Stein Chapel in Long Prairie.

Jacob was born on December 23, 1989 in Webster, South Dakota to Lance and Brenda (Wika) Huggett. He grew up in Dell Rapids, SD and attended school there. He moved to Long Prairie in ay of 2013. Jacob was employed by Standard Iron in Sauk Centre, MN.

He enjoyed fishing, playing guitar, and working on cars.               

Jacob is survived by his parents, siblings, Joseph of Long Prairie, Jared of Vermillion, SD, Anna, Olivia, Xavier, Isaac, and Nicholas, all of Long Prairie, grandparents, Anton & Norma Wika of Webster, SD, and Lyle and Dianne Huggett of Roslyn, SD, aunts and uncles, Lisa & Loren Schoenbeck of Webster, SD, Theresa Goehring of St. Mary, KS, Lora Kirkvold of Iroquois, SD, Mark & Melissa Wika of Pierpont, SD, Brett Wika of Watertown, SD, Gina Wika of Howard, SD, and Daniel Wika of Webster, SD.

Memorials are preferred to St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Long Prairie.
