Allen HansonAllen I. Hanson, 80, of Volin, SD passed away at his home in rural Volin on Tuesday, August 25, 2015.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Trondhjem Lutheran Church, rural Volin. Burial will follow in the Trondhjem Cemetery.Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00pm, Friday, August 28, 2015 at the Hansen Funeral Home in Irene. Condolences may be left at www.hansenfuneralhome.com.

Allen is survived by two sons Neal (Jenny) Hanson, grandchildren Brandon, Nick and Olivia, Viborg, SD, Larry Hanson and Renee, grandchildren Samantha and Thomas, Irene, SD, Daughter Emilie (Jeff) Traill, grandchildren Carter and Cate, Dell Rapids, SD, one brother Harlan Hanson, Irene, SD, sister-in-law Maxine Hanson, Volin, SD, niece Becky McManus, Volin, SD, nephew Brian Hanson, Billings, MT, other family and friends and his dog “Brownie” and numerous beloved cats.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents Herman and Emma Hanson and brother Emerald Hanson.
