David Grav, 53, of Dell Rapids passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at St. Mary Hospital in Rochester, MN. His Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 28, 2015 at St. Mary Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Dell Rapids Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Kahler Funeral Home. The family will be present at 6:00 p.m. with the Christian Wake beginning at 7:00 p.m. A Catholic Order of Foresters Rosary will be prayed following the Wake. David Charles Grav was born on July 21, 1962 at Bellflower, CA, the son of Peter and Arlene (Johnson) Grav. He grew up in California and moved with his family to South Dakota in the middle of his Jr. year. He graduated from Dell Rapids High School in 1981. He married Vickie Eulberg on May 11, 1984 at the Lutheran Church of Dell Rapids. The couple made their home in Dell Rapids. David worked for Perkins Restaurant, LG Everist Quarry, Linton in Sioux Falls, Reecy Farm Supply, Central States in Lyons and most recently Crimson in Brandon until poor health forced his retirement.

He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, the Catholic Order of Foresters, and a lifetime member of the Dell Rapids Sportsman Club. He loved to farm, hunt and woodworking.

Dave is survived by his wife, Vickie of Dell Rapids; his sons, Brodie (Brianna) of Dell Rapids, Kyle of Austin, TX and Kaleb of Dell Rapids; his daughter, Missy (Clint) Schull of Dell Rapids; his grandchildren, Bryana, Jade, Ethan and Brecken; his parents, Peter and Arlene Grave of CA; his brother, Steve (Cindy) Grav of CA and his sister, Joan (Leo) Glabb of CA.
