The Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinal competitive cheer team won the Lake Preston Cheer Invitational on Monday, October 16th. Other teams competing in the competition were Redfield-Doland, Arlington/Lake Preston, and Deubrook.
St Mary finished with a total of 135.5 points. Redfield-Doland was second with 131 points. Deubrook finished third with 127.25 points, and Arlington/Lake Preston finished fourth with 124 points.
The Cardinals will be at the state competition on Friday, October 20th and Saturday, October 21st at Rapid City Stevens High School.
