The Dell Rapids Quarriers boys golf team is the 2013 Class A State Champions! The team finished with a two-day total of 662. Parkston finished second with a total of 663. Aberdeen Roncalli finished third with a total of 670, Madison was fourth at 671, and West Central finished fifth at 681. Parkston had the best round of the second day with a 332. Dell Rapids had a 339 for the day.
Adam Karst finished second individually for the tournament, with a tw0-day total of 151. Michael Duch of Aberdeen Roncalli held on to his first day lead to win the individual title with a total of 148. Zach Schroeder finished tied for 14th at 167. Devon Weber finished with a total of 171, Ty Hoglund had a 173 for the tournament, and Mason Schmidt finished the state tournament with a 193.
The Quarriers will have a welcome home at 6:30 p.m. at Rocky Run Golf Course in Dell Rapids.
