The Dell Rapids Quarrier boys golf team finished 10th at the Dak XII Conference Tournament held at Two Rivers Golf Course in North Sioux City on Monday, September 18th. The weather conditions happened to be wet and muggy for most of the day for the tournament.
Dell Rapids finished with a team score of 366. Dakota Valley won the team conference title with a total of 305. Tea Area was second with 323, and Madison placed third with a team score of 324. Brock Murphy of Tea Area took home the individual conference title with a round of 72.
Mason Schmidt (26th) had the low round for Dell Rapids on the day with an 86. Zach McKee finished with a round of 90. Brandon Kubly had a 93. Karsen Welbig finished with a 97, Jack Weber had a 105, and Malakai Anderson had a 107.
The Quarrier varsity team will prepare for the Region 1A Tournament which will be held at Rocky Run Golf Course in Dell Rapids on Monday, September 25th. The JV team will have their Dak XII tournament on Tuesday, September 19th, in Canton.
