The Dell Rapids Quarriers lost their first match of the season which was their first home match on Tuesday, August 28th. The Quarriers fell to the Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies in four sets by scores of 22-25, 19-25, 25-17, and 24-26.
Jayda Knuppe had 21 kills in the match, and Marie Jackson added 11 kills and two blocks. Hannah Fletcher had 42 set assists and 14 digs. Same Price and Brook Klein both finished with 29 digs. Klein also had 10 service points.
The Quarriers (5-1), currently ranked #2 in Class A volleyball, will host the #1 Sioux Falls Christian on Thursday, August 30th. The match can be seen on Big Sioux Media.
