The Dell Rapids Quarriers made the first of two long trips south on I-29 on Monday, October 2nd. The Dakota Valley Panthers defeated the Quarriers in straight sets by scores of 25-13, 25-5, 25-16.
Trinity Gordon led the team with six kills and 10 digs in the match. Maria Jackson finished with five kills and four digs. Sidney Stofferahn added two kills and two blocks. Hannah Fletcher had 12 set assists and eight digs.
Dell Rapids, 13-5 on the season, heads south again on Tuesday, October 3rd. The Quarriers will be in Vermillion to take on the Tanagers.
