A few of the Dell Rapids Quarrier track members traveled to Vermillion for the Dan Lennon Invite on Monday, March 19th. Four the participants placed in the top 10 of their Class A events.
Shaylee Hoff placed 5th in the 400m Dash with a time of 1:04.76. Mason Schmidt also placed 5th in the High Jump with a leap of 6’4″. Ryker Pedde also participated in the High Jump and finished 9th with a jump of 6’0″. Josh Heinemann placed 6th in the Triple Jump with a jump of 39’1″. Sydney Stofferahn had a 15th place finish in the shot put with a throw of 32’11.75″. Andrew Hegge also ran in the meet with a 7.76 time in the 60m Dash.
The Quarriers will officially start their season at the SDSU Relays in Bro0kings on Monday, April 2nd.
