The Dell Rapids Quarrier girls golf team and Rocky Run Golf Course hosted the Dell Rapids Invite on Tuesday, May 1st. Nineteen teams from across the state participated in the event.
Dell Rapids finished with a team score of 404 for 8th place. Sioux Falls Christian won the team title with a score of 374. Canton was second with 375. West Central placed third with 376. Parkston and Madison followed with scores of 380 and 384 respectively. Kate Wynja of Sioux Falls Christian took the top spot individually with a round of 75.
Kaitlyn Greenhoff had the top score for Dell Rapids with a round of 92. Olivia Downs finished the day with a round of 95. Sami Schmidt had a 108, Sydney Emery had a 109, Jayme Schmidt had a 116, and Mallory Haak finished with a 127.
Dell Rapids will be at the West Central Invite at Central Valley Golf Course on Monday, May 7th.
