The Dell Rapids Quarrier boys golf team won the Dells Invite Tournament on Monday, August 24th, at Rocky Run Golf Course. The Quarriers finished with a team score of 327, which was five strokes better than second place Madison Bulldogs. Parkston finished third with a total of 333, and Dakota Valley was fourth with a total of 337.
Three Quarrier golfers also finished in the top 20 individually. Ty Hoglund placed first overall with a low score of 73 on the day. Josh Parrot finished 11th with a round of 82. Mason Schmidt placed 18th with a round of 84. Brent Eddy finished his day with a round of 88. Jordan Kerns ended with a round of 91, and Jace Blair finished with a 99.
Dell Rapids will travel to Madison to play in the Madison Invite at the Madison Country Club on Tuesday, September 1st.
