The Mudcats scored five early runs in the first two innings on Thursday. They added another in the third and two more in the fourth for an 8-0 lead. Salem picked up a couple of runs in the bottom of the fourth and another in the fifth, but wouldn’t get any closer the rest of the night.

Travis Peters, Trevor Freudenthal, and Dalton Allen all had two hits in the game. Logan Stone had a double. Kris Regas pitched seven innings allowing three runs on six hits with 16 strikeouts for thee win. John Spaeth pitched two innings striking out three batters.
The Mudcats put on an offensive show on Sunday clobbering three grand slams in the five-inning win over the Lennox. The Mudcats scored 10 runs in the first, six more in the second, one in the third, and four in the fourth. Lennox got their two runs in the second inning.
