The St Mary’s Cardinal track team competed in their final regular season meet, the Arlington Last Chance Meet, on Friday, May 22nd. The girls team finished sixth with 39 points. The boys team was 13th with 15 points.
Sophia LaVoy won the triple jump with a jump of 32’10.5″. Maddyn LeBrun was second in the javelin with a throw of 113’4″. Lauryn LeBrun took third in the javelin at 108’9″. Reagan Griffin placed third in the triple jump at 32’3″. Madalyn LaVoy finished fourth in the long jump with a leap of 14’5.5″. Kate Liebl place fifth in the javelin at 95’8″.
Alex Lindeman was fourth in the shot put with a throw of 42’2.5″. Jaxon Baumberger finished fourth in the triple jump at 39’0.25″. Gus Herber was sixth in the long jump with a jump of 38’3.75″. Isaac Griffin placed seventh in the long jump at 37’5.5″. Josh Liebl had a triple jump leap of 36’2″. Gavin Pica had a shot put throw of 32’5.25″, and Liam Barr finished at 29’4″ in shot put.
