The St Mary Cardinal girls had no trouble notching their thirteenth win of the season on Thursday, February 6th. The Cardinals defeated the Iroquois/Lake Preston Sharks 67-25.
St Mary held the Sharks to just two points in the first quarter while building a 16-2 lead. They would just cruise from there the rest of the game. The Cardinals extended the lead to 40-6 by halftime. Because St Mary was ahead by 30 or more points at halftime, the entire second half was played with a running clock. The Cardinals led 55-18 at the end of the third quarter.
Three players finished in double figures. Madala Hanson had 20 points, four steals, and three assists. Jenna Miller added 14 points, three rebounds, three assists, and five steals. Brianna Griffin had 12 points and six rebounds. Megan Geraets had six points. Maddyn LeBrun had five points and three rebounds. Addison Libis ended with four points, three rebounds, three steals, and two assists.
