The St Mary Cardinal girls continued their hot streak with another big win on Friday, January 17th. The Cardinals cruised past Oldham-Ramona-Rutland 87-49 for their seventh straight win.
St Mary was on fire offensively in the first quarter scoring 32 points. They led 32-10 at the end of the first quarter and never looked back. The lead grew to 51-26 by halftime. The Cardinals had another big quarter in the third. They scored 26 points and led 77-41 going into the fourth quarter.
St Mary shot 54% (35-65) overall in the game, 23% (5-22) from three-point area, and 80% (12-15) from the free-throw line. The Raiders shot 44% (15-34) overall, 43% (6-14) on three-point attempts, and 65% (13-20) from the free-throw line. The Cardinal defense also forced 36 Raider turnovers.
Madala Hanson had 26 points, four assists, and six steals. Jenna Miller finished with 22 points, 10 assists, and six steals. Addison Libis had 13 points, five rebounds, and three steals. Brianna Griffin ended with 12 points and three assists.
