The 2023-2024 season featured a brand new group of starters for the Cardinals. They also dealt with injuries, but St Mary was able to work themselves to an 11-10 overall record and a third place finish in the Dakota Valley Conference. This year’s team returns five seniors as well as their junior point guard.
Seniors Brianna Griffin (honorable mention DVC), Jodie Klein, Addison Libis (3rd team DVC), and Megan Geraets will be joined by fellow senior Madala Hanson, who will be back on the court this year after missing all of last year. Junior Jenna Miller (2nd team DV also returns to the team this season.
“We hope to put together a good season. We look to improve on last year, and we should be better defensively and offensively,” said head coach Ed Gustafson.
The 2024-2025 season starts at home against Hills-Beaver Creek on Tuesday, December 10th.
