The St Mary Cardinal track teams took part in the Danielsen Relays in Salem on Tuesday, April 28th. Several athletes placed first at the track meet.
Maddyn LeBrun won the discus at 117’7″, placed third in the shot put with a throw of 33’0″, and finished third in the javelin at 115’4″. Layla Hanson won the long jump with a jump of 16’1″. Madayn LaVoy was second in the triple jump at 32’1″. Kate Liebl took second in the discus with a throw of 115’7″. Addy Fiegen was third in the 1600m run in 6:00.94. Reagan Griffin finished third in the triple jump with a jump of 31’1″. The sprint medley relay team of Hanson, Emersyn Herber, Sophia LaVoy, and Paige Deuter took third at 4:51.80.
Logan Bauer took the top spot in the 100m dash in :11.57 and placed first in the 400m dash with a time of :52.13. Gavin Pica won the discus with a toss of 139’7″. Jacob Flemmer was third in the 800m run in 2:05.57. Alex Liindeman finished third in the shot put with a throw of 43’0″. The 4x200m relay team of Thomas LaVoy, Lincoln LeBrun, Jake Heinitz, and Pano Skliris won with a time of 1:34.40.
