The St Mary’s Cardinal track teams ran in the Mike Seivert Relays in Beresford on Tuesday, April 21st. The Cardinals had several first-place finishers on the day.
Maddyn LeBrun won the discus at 116’10”, won the javelin with a throw of 117’4″, and placed third in the shot put at 34’2″. Layla Hanson took the top spot in the long jump with a leap of 16’0″. Lucy Vargas placed third in the 3200m run in 14:53.96. Paige Deuter was third in the 300m hurdles with a time of :54.83. Kate Liebl took third in the discus with a throw of 106’0″. Lauryn LeBrun was third in the javelin with a throw of 106’3″. Ryleigh Ahlers finished third in the high jump with a jump of 4’8″.
Logan Bauer won the 100m dash in :11.34, won the 400m dash in :53.18, and took second in the 200m dash with a time of :22.81. Cooper Libis won the 3200m run ini a time of 11:09.38. Jacob Flemmer finished second in the 800m run in 2:05.47. Gavin Pica took second in the discus with a throw of 146’0″. Colter Griffin placed second in the high jump with a leap of 5’10”. The 4x100m relay team of Thomas LaVoy, Jake Heinitz, Lincoln LeBrun, and Bauer won with a time of :44.30.
