Cardinal Girls Roll Past Baltic

The St Mary Cardinals rolled past the Baltic Bulldogs at home on Friday, January 24th.  St Mary started the game with a 7-0 run and cruised to a 70-39 victory.

The Cardinals ended the opening quarter with a 24-10 advantage.  They were able to extend their lead in every quarter.  St Mary extended the lead to 41-17 by halftime.  The Cardinals held a 55-30 lead going into the fourth quarter.

St Mary shot 38% (24-64) overall, 28% (8-29) on three-point attempts, and 61% (14-23) from the free-throw line.  Baltic finished the game shooting 30% (13-44) overall, just 3-14 on three-point shots, and 63% (10-16) from the free-throw line.  The St Mary defense forced 28 turnovers and scored 34 points off those turnovers.

Madala Hanson had 17 points, three rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Jenna Miller finished with 16 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and five steals.  Addison Libis also had 16 points with three rebounds and three steals.  Maddyn LeBrun had eight points, seven rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Brianna Griffin ended with seven points, seven rebounds, four assists, and four steals.
