The St Mary Cardinal girls rebounded with a big win on Tuesday, January 21st after suffering their first loss since December. The Cardinals defeated the Castlewood Warriors 78-35.
St Mary’s offense was rolling from tip-off in the game. They raced out to a 29-7 lead by the end of the first quarter. The lead grew to 55-18 at halftime. The Cardinals outscored Castlewood 12-7 in the third quarter, and then 11-10 in the final quarter.
Madala Hanson had 22 points, three rebounds, and five assists. Brianna Griffin added 16 points, six rebounds, and two assists. Jenna Miller ended with 15 points, three rebounds, and five assists. Addison Libis finished with nine points and two rebounds. Maddyn LeBrun had five points, two rebounds, two assists, and four steals.
