Cardinal Girls Roll to Fifth Straight Win

The St Mary Cardinal girls had no trouble earning their fifth straight win on Thursday, January 9th.  St Mary hosted the Estelline/Hendricks Redhawks and earned a 63-22 victory.

The Cardinals put 21 points on the board in the first quarter while holding the Redhawks to just five points for a 21-5 lead.  They kept rolling from there throughout the rest of the game.  St Mary led 41-13 at halftime.  The Cardinals also outscored Estelline/Hendricks 22-9 in the second half.

Four different players scored in double figures.  Madala Hanson had 16 points, four steals, two rebounds, and two assists.  Jenna Miller added 14 points, five rebounds, four assists, and four steals.  Brianna Griffin ended with 13 points, five rebounds, three steals, and two assists.  Addison Libis had 12 points and two rebounds.  Megan Geraets had four points and two rebounds.  Maddyn LeBrun had two points, five steals, four rebounds, and three assists.
